Sithar Coffee is the authorized distributor of Pinhalense Processing Technologies in Myanmar.
Sithar Coffee has invested with Mandalay Coffee Group the green bean processing plant at Pyin Oo Lwin, to upgrade processing techniques and achieve quality consistency of processed green beans.
First and most importantly, only good red ripe cherries are handpicked to get the best taste and aroma.
Fully washed (wet-processed) method is used, , while natural dry and honey process is also initiated at our plant or our partner’s collection areas. Fermentation process is also carefully monitored so not to acquire undesirable sour flavors.
Our coffee beans are naturally sun dried to moisture levels around 8~8.5%.
Sithar is also the authorized distributor of Pinhalense Processing Systems from Brazil.
After sundried, instead of using mechanized size and color sorter, our coffee is handpicked again for sizing and color sorting, quite the labor intensive activity which we are proud for giving jobs for local community.
